Schwartzman on NBC?

From JoBlo:
I have an inherent fondness for cheesy sitcoms. You know the kind they don’t really make anymore with over-the-top laugh tracks, multiple cameras and cheesy premises (like a foreign raised man moving to Chicago to live with his long-lost American cousin). So naturally this video cracked me up.

Below is a clip from an upcoming NBC sitcom titled “Yo Teach!” starring Jason Schwartzman. Except it’s not an actual NBC sitcom and that’s not quite Jason Schwartzman. It’s a brilliant piece of viral marketing for FUNNY PEOPLE, Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy. In the film, Schwartzman plays Mark Taylor Jackson, an actor who just landed a gig on a sitcom titled “Yo Teach,” where he struggles to connect to a classroom of inner-city kids. It’s a TV show within a movie and it’s a spot-on parody of sitcoms like “Head of the Class.” Check it out below…

Extra Tidbit: “Yo Teach” has a complete website set up at NBC.com that you can check out here.
